Predator's Gold

This is a painting I did over the summer of Hester Shaw from The Hungry City Chronicles by Philip Reeve. They are awesome books, especially the first one. If you haven't read them yet, do!

Anyway, I don't really like Hester very much as a person but I found her very intriguing. That and I didn't like anyone else's versions of Hester so I decided to do one myself. I know the detail on the hair and face is really bad, but I had too much fun with the background and the scarf! That and I don't have a brush small enough to get the itty bitty details. Hopefully I'll get one soon and get more paintings up!
